Harry Potter and the quest for something interesting to write

I've had an extremely stressful week which is going to be the pattern all through the summer - weekdays hectic - weekends a few hours to myself. I am not going to bore you all with the daily grind of real life stuff at the moment but what I am going to do is just post some wallpapers here and there. I might have a couple to post later on. :)

On the vidding front - I am vidding! I open up premiere every time I get a chance. I have 3 projects on the go, so at some point in the not to distant future I will have another video ready to be viewed by the general public. Be honest that is what you are all waiting for isn't it? You don't want my real life ramblings do you? lol

I know I am way behind everyone else but by my standards I read this book very quickly. Every spare minute I got I had my nose in that book. I thought it was great.

On the relationships:

I loved the Hermione/Ron stuff. Is it just me or is Hermione in danger of going over to the dark arts? Wasn't the bird attack thing a little bit extreme!

Ginny/Harry was kind of cute even if it did seem to kind of come out of nowhere.

Tonks and Lupin though is just wrong, wrong, WRONG. It is wrong because I thought Lupin was gay, because he is way older than Tonks and because Tonks is just the worst, most irritating character JK has ever written. "whotcha Harry!" eww!!

I give myself a pat on the back for guessing the identity of the half blood prince but I still didn't see the ending coming.

Snape's parentage seemed a bit strange Eileen Prince is a very Muggle sounding name for a witch and Tobias Snape doesn't sound like a Muggle name at all. Weird.

I always liked Snape and there is absolutely no way he has returned to Voldemort. Dumbledore wasn't begging Snape not to kill him he was begging him to do what was necessary. One of the things you learn as you pass into adulthood is that sometimes even when you don't like somebody they are not necessarily acting against your best interests. When you are 11 it is Ok to believe that anyone who is not your friend is automatically your enemy. You really shouldn't still think like that at sixteen. Amazing how self important someone can be just cos they have a funny scar lol.  I loved how protective Snape was of Draco. I wonder what the significance of that bond will turn out to be. I' m not going to hazard a guess as to who R.A.B. is or about the location of the Horcruxes cos I always get these things wrong. I did wonder if the things that Dumbledore was saying after drinking the contents of what looked like a pensieve might be Snape's memory or conscience but I am probably a mile off.
