When I asked to my "computer guy" (lol), a couple of months back, what I would need to transfer clips from my VHS tapes to my computer..he told me I needed a software (with a PCI card) to capture video from a VCR .. this is the one he was talking about : Pinnacle Studio AV/DV

I don't know if it would be less trouble that way..but my "computer guy" told me it was the software to have ;) ..
