Oh, so not disappointed. I've watched it 5 times already. It's hypnotic! And so, so pretty. I don't think I have a copy of the old one handy -- I backed up all my downloaded vids a while ago, so it's on a disk somewhere. But this doesn't feel substantially different than what I remember, just cleaner, smoother, and of course sparklier with the quality upgrade. :D I'm so glad you did this. Thank you.

Thanks Killa. It is definitely smoother I prefer the flow of this one and I think the editing is a bit tighter.

I love the icon by the way. There can never be too many deranged cat icons.

Hey, this was great! I've watched it about five times by now, and it really jazzes me.

I only know the fandom from a couple of other great vids (Atom Bomb and This Girl Is Making Bets), but that's not really a problem, because this vid is so accessible.

It's about a spy lady who is cool, and sexy, and has disguises, and fights! And Gina Torres is in it too!

Really. What more could one want. *G* And it works, because it's so jazzy and the motion carries over so well, and it just makes me go Eeeee.

I haven't seen the old version, so I have no idea what effects you took out, but I think the vid definitely doesn't need extra. I think you don't even need the white flashes at the beginning.

Love the bit at about 00:33 where the music slows and you have these gorgeous slow zoom shots. I also really like the intercutting between the two red wig scenes, and the spinny fighting.

I think this would make a great Club Vivid vid, too. I'd dance to it. *g*

It is great to know that it works if you don't know the fandom, not that I'm surprised it is as shallow a vid as you can get. See the pretty spy, see her fight in wigs, that's about it. *grin*

I much prefer the motion and flow of this vid compared to the original and to achieve that I had to lose some effects and I can definitely live with that.

Firstly, thank you for the rec!

Yep, you've just got to love Syd and the prettiness; her changing aliases are probably my favourite parts of the show. I'm shallow like that. lol I loved seasons 1-3, 4 was ok but then it went downhill, from then on, for me. Even the pretty was quite lacking in season 5.

As for the old version of the vid - It's much the same as the one above just less quality, smaller screen, a few more lens flares and scanlines. Some of the clips are different too. You haven't missed an awful lot.

I watched the original before the remastered one. I really enjoyed the first one when it came out, even my aunt watched it and thought it was great.

Still love what you did for the titles.

I think it's great that you're going back and remastering some older vids, coming back with more experience and know how, giving something that was already awesome a fresh look.

You have a great knack for choosing great clips and for picking some of Sydney's best "aliases". I love how almost every clip has red in it, which gives flow. The refined effects are excellent and you pulled every one of them off expertly.

Cheers Kiki. I'm glad you don't think I ruined the video by remaking it. Red is definitely quite prominent in this vid I felt it made things look a bit less random.

The remastering thing is kind of a summer project for me. There are a number of my earlier vids where I still like the concept and the song but feel that what ended up on screen wasn't what I had in my head so I'm going back and trying again. There are still several to have a stab at.
