HDTV monitors

Does anyone on my flist know anything about HDTV monitors? If so, would this here be a good buy for the price range? I've looked around and haven't seen anything better spec wise....

I've seen some talk about HD DVD and Blu-ray but I'm not quite sure what it's all about yet... Still much research to do.

HDMI is the same as HDCP isn't it? Hmmm.
