What are your favourite, gender-neutral, non-angsty, just joyful or celebratory love/relationship songs?

Oh, and I have a disgusting fondness for "Here in your car" by hellogoodbye. It's very shaming.
Oh, oh, and this isn't gender neutral, but if the purpose of the request is what I think it is, it might work anyway - Weezer, Buddy Holly.
I'm shutting up now :-).

It really is! My original thought was Sew My Name by Josh Pyke, I *adore* it. It's so beautiful but it's about a love that isn't reciprocated.
Thanks for your suggestion.

... you're judging me, aren't you
edited to say, I suppose "I like the way you move" is right out? *g*
Umbrella - Rihanna
You Are So Beautiful - Joe Cocker
I'm done, I'm done!

"Accidentally in Love" by Counting Crows
"Heaven" by Bryan Adams (covered by DJ Sammy/Yanou if you want female vocals. They have an upbeat dance version and a slow "Candlenight" mix)
"Ain't No Mountain High Enough" by...well, whichever version you like best. :)
"I Say a Little Prayer" by Dionne Warwick or Aretha Franklin
"With You" by Jessica Simpson (first verse has references to the singer being female, which may mess up the gender-neutralness)

Beach Boys (or Bowie, or whoever) - God Only Knows
Ben Folds - The Luckiest
Elton John - Can You Feel The Love Tonight
Shania Twain - Forever and for Always
The Postal Service - Such Great Heights
And I second "Head Over Feet" and "Accidentally in Love".

"That's Where It Is" by Carrie Underwood is the first one I could think of.
"I'll Be" by Edwin McCain is rather non-angsty, too.

I like the following:
I Love You (Always Forever) by Donna Lewis.

The Way You Look Tonight by Elton John:

(We danced to this one at our wedding)
World of Own by Westlife:

(Though this one does could sound more like from the perspective of people being apart)

No One, by Alicia Keys
Better Together, by Jack Johnson
The Way You Look Tonight, by (take your pick!)
The Way I Am, by Ingrid Michaelson (not quite gender-neutral, depends on how you look at hair loss)
Danny's Song, by Me First & the Gimme Gimmes
First Day of my Life, by Bright Eyes
Oh, by Dave Matthews Band
I Kissed A Girl, by Jill Sobule (classic!)
You and Me, by Lifehouse
Okay, that should be enough to get you started. Coincedentally, "Happy Together" was Steph and I's first dance. :)

The first 2 are promising but I can stand Westlife, they make my ears bleed.

As I've said previously, Happy Together is a fantastic song but it's one I've vidded in the past so it's really not gonna work. The vid's not something I want to be visualizing on the day.

While Im no fan of Westlife, I don't hate them either. But that is their only song that I genuinely like listening to.
