Vidding Woes

I shouldn't have announced that I was doing a Logan/Weevil vid it was too premature. I had the first draft all finished and although I wasn't that happy with it I thought I could re-work the timeline. So another vid bites the dust. I've put it to one side with the hope that I can come back to it. It's not looking that likely at the moment. This is the 3rd video of late that has got scrapped, Lilah (Ats) a Lost/Alias crossover now this. I think I'm feeling the pressure and I am struggling to vid at all. I have started another video, I won't say what it is because who knows if it's going to work out.

Awww, try not to let the pressure get to you. Vidding should be fun so just let it soak in. I've been scraping vids recently too, but we all get back on track sometime or another :)

Definitely don't feel bad about scrapping vids. I have heaps that I thought started out as brilliant ideas but I wound up never finding the inspiration for. Or I find I'm inspired for like, one lyric, and can't work out the rest of the song. "The Hardest Thing" was almost a scrapped vid for me; I had it 3/4 done, but I was just stuck on a coupla parts. I walked away from it for four months! But when I finally sat back down to it, I was able to come up with the missing pieces. In the end, no matter how people pester you for vids, you have to do it for yourself, and if you're not having fun with something, it's time to move on.
