I've been gone a while but now I'm back and being as random as ever. Don't mind me.

I have to 2 Vidding related items that need to be passed on. Firstly, festivids! This looks like so much fun so I'm going to be throwing myself at it. The principle is similar to yuletide but it's for vids which is doubly awesome. I cannot wait to see all the potential rare fandom vids to come out of it. Very exciting.

vid_the_grid is based on the numerous fic prompt table communities that you can find all over LJ. But why should authors have all the fun? In this community, the idea is to extend the fun to vidders too.

Half a Moon is a fourteen day challenge celebrating female characters in fandom, which will run from February 1 through Valentine's Day. I haven't pimped this yet so I am now pimping it mightily! VidUKon is a brand new Vidding con being held in the UK and set up by the fantastic

halcyon_shift. It will run from the 24th Oct to the 26th Oct in Milton Keynes and will have everything from panels, vidshows tea and cakes. It should be a great weekend to meet all your fannish friends to talk/watch vids. I won't be going myself this year, unfortunately, but I am seriously hoping there will be enough numbers to make it viable for next as I really want to go. So this is where I pimp - you all need to go sign up! It'll be fun! Come take a holiday in Britain!

As I'm not going this year I thought I'd make myself useful in another way so I offered to VJ the "Made In The UK" Vid show.

You know I said I was really busy with the club vivid vids? Well I am, but I have been suckered back into Reverie after months. The place has me completely hooked again and it's even got me feeling creative enough to open Photoshop! Bloody hell! Although I am back on there, and it's great, I will not be neglecting LJ and you lot. I don't post that often here on *my* journal but I still consider it my main place.

Sweet Charity got off to a great cracking start yesterday. £2400.38/$4634.66/€3509.65 has been pledged already! Everyone is so fantastically generous it's hard to believe. The Power of Fandom strikes again. If my bidders are reading this > Thank you thank you! Don't stop bidding now though. ;) Below is a reminder of my offerings.

lithium_doll starts again soon. Beginning of March I think? I hope to see many of you lot sign up or get involved in someway - it's for a fantastic cause! Can I just remind us all how much we raised last round > £879.90 / $1639.48 that amount is beyond amazing. I hope it has a similar success this time round!

vividcon sign-ups also start soon "registration for attending membership opens Sunday, February 18 at 1PM EST" I will not be going myself for various reasons (living in the UK and being socialphobic being the biggest two) but I am keen to see some of you awesome vidders on my flist sign up.
