Oh man...I just reread my comment and the typos are killing me. Glad you managed to get the message. People are going to stop believing English is my first language. :P
I never even noticed the typos until you just pointed them out. lol Both our brains must be frazzled. Zzzzz Do you think you will be posting a new vidlet today? *poke*
Ooh such style and imagination Charmax - Keira Knightley as victorian decoupage - it reminds me a little of flower fairies books too. Such a wonderful wall.
The Jennifer one is very interesting too. Love the brollies.
WOW, Charmax these are breathtaking, seriously, I love the Keira one, it looks like it’s taken directly from a fairy tale book and I really love the paper and aging effect in this. So beautiful and elegant. The Jennifer one is also terrific, the background here is amazing and so extraordinary, everything just fits and she looks wonderful! I didn't think it was possible, but you just get better and better with each piece, it's totally unbelievable!
I don't know whether I keep getting better. I feel like I am still quite hit and miss I definitely have more than my fair share of discarded psds on my hard drive mocking me with their weirdness.
Both of the walls are great, but I think I like the first one a bit more. I loved the photoshoot Keira Knightley did, and I think you used the images very well. It looks just like a page out of a story. And the colours in the Jennifer Garner one work so well. Great job!
hi there charmax. i found your lj from art_battle, hope you dont mind :)
i just want to tell you that you did a fantastic job at art_battle. i'm a big fan of all your artwork there! the jennifer aniston one is my favorite. do you do tutorial?
I'm not particularly good at tutorials. I don't always remember all the steps I have taken. Also more often than not I don't have a specific plan when I start.
Sorry I can't be more helpful. I'm glad you like my stuff. I wasn't at all sure about the Jennifer one so it is nice to get positive feedback for that.
I don't know what it is, but ever since I've seen those photos of Kiera they've freaked me out I just can't get over how creepy she looks in that whole photo shoot. Still, I like what you've done with them. I'm really loving your collage style walls, it's a refreshing break from photo blends.
I really like that shoot myself, though it's definitly not her usual style. I really like making vintage arts so it leant itself perfectly to that.
As for the collage effect - More and more of my arts are going that way. I think you can be a lot more creative in what you do than with a standard blend. I'm really getting hooked on stock images and textures and those can really come into their own with the collage look.
