Books

"It begins in Tsarist Russia in the late 1800's when the Jewish community is suffering hardship, persecution and death. At times, their faith and culture seems to be all they have. As the killings increase thousands flee to New York, only to experience unemployment, awful living conditions and continuing anti-semitism. They experience major changes to both their lives and their culture in the days of ferment around the turn of the century"

"Following the curves of the twentieth century, Fall On Your Knees takes us from haunted Cape Breton island in Nova Scotia through the battlefields of World War I into the emerging jazz scene in New York City, and immerses us in the lives of four unforgettable sisters. The children of a driven and ambitious father, the sisters - Kathleen, the oldest, a beautiful talent intent on a career as an opera diva, Frances, the drunken rogue and child prostitute, Lily, the pseudo-saint cripple and Mercedes, the fervent Catholic and protector of the flock - are swept along by the tumult of events and of their own desires. This is a story of family relationships, racial strife, miracles, attempted murder, birth and eath, and an extraordinary love affair."

"Homicide detective Tori Hunter was used to doing things her way. But even after having seven different partners in six years, Tori isn't prepared when she's forced to team up with the hot-tempered Samantha Kennedy."

"In this tumultuous time, factory worker Virginia Chisholm hopes for more, but her dreams go up in smoke when a tenement blaze rips her family apart. Aided by Lindsay Killian, the street-wise, rail-riding drifter she meets in a charity hospital, Ginny follows the orphan train that has taken her siblings west."

"LIFE MASK is the true story of three famous Londoners - an artist, an actress and an aristocrat - at the end of the eighteenth century. This is their love story, their gamble, their battle. Let the games begin. Everybody wears a mask. Hadn't you noticed? We put them on for one very good reason: we dislike our own faces. It's an era of looming war, and the erosion of freedom in the name of national security. A time of high art and big business, trashy spectacles and financial disasters. Celebrities are hounded by journalists, who serve up private passions alongside public crises. Marriages stretch or break, and so do friendships; political liaisons prove as dangerous as erotic ones. In Parliament, on stage, in the bedroom, at the race track, round the dinner table, old loyalties are wrenched by the winds of change. The World - as elite calls itself - is fighting to survive these chaotic times."

"A Feel-good Erotic Romp"
