Firstly a big fat hooray because spy mommy is not dead! I knew this from interviews but she’s finally coming back and I’m very happy! They are really setting up a good start for next season. Irinas back and she is the only person who can stop the scary sister (the one who has her imprisoned).  So it does seem likely that the prophecy from early in the season about two sisters fighting and only one surviving was referring to these two rather than Nadia and Syd. It’s all getting very exciting. Is Sloan going to be redeemed or not? I really hope so. I love his character and would like to see him make his amends.  I can’t help but think though that he still has a trick or two up his sleeve.
 
This season has also seen a darker side of spy daddy and I wonder if this is going to be paid off in the finale.
 
I really hope there will be more Sark next year he adds a whole new dynamic. And also on my wish list is Anna. J
 
I’m wondering though, how they will write in Jennifer Garner’s pregnancy? That’s going to be interesting they can hardly do a load of head shots lol. Irina will have to be the focus and if she is I’m a happy bunny. 
 
 
Lost
 
More hoorays the French lady is back. I don’t know if they have plans to bring her in as a main character next year or not but I hope so. I feel the show is really lacking in strong women and having her around will even the balance. She is also a great rival for Locke.
 
I hope they manage to clear up some of the issues around Kate before the show ends. I feel we are still missing a huge chunk about her previous life. We get bits here and there but she is still an enigma. The rest are too.
 
Another thing that’s strange is that Kate in the flashbacks seems to be a completely different person to the one on the island. Her whole persona is different. I don’t know if there is a reason for that and if there is, are they going to let us in on it?
 
How sad was it when Sun was saying goodbye to Jin?! The tears really were starting to well up then.
 
While we are on the subject of welling up how brilliant was that scene between Jack and Sawyer? Jacks daddy loved him aww. There are also some great slashy vibes in there too that shows promise for new vids. Sawyer with his shirt off even I can appreciate that! Oh and he was leaning over that tree rofl. Yes I’m going into perversion mode now.

And what is with Walt? He is a very strange child. He like Locke knows a lot more about what is *really* happening on the island.  His response to Locke about the not opening that tunnel was chilling. The others all know about it now so only time will tell what is really going on down there.
 
I have a theory…
 
Other people have said this but I’m beginning to subscribe to the theory that everyone on the island is dead and can’t move on to the next life until they have worked through there mis-deeds. Boone moved on first because he had let go of his obsession with Shannon after that episode where Locke gets him to hallucinate. Then he confessed to his feelings of guilt over the nanny who died. In any case it is quite clear that these people are not just random survivors of the plane crash. There is the whole numbers thing (seat numbers?) and they keep appearing in each others flashbacks, Sawyer in Michael’s, Jack’s Dad in Sawyer’s, Sayid in Shannon’s, there is definitely a connection for all of them. 
 
I can’t wait for next week!

Beautiful wallpaper, great pics of the two and how they mirror in black/white at the bottom, I love the composition and the colours fantastic as always!

About Lost, they’re picking up speed again in the writing and old questions, which suits the show well, I was really enjoying this ep after some slightly lacklustre eps, in which I couldn’t pinpoint down, why I start to not care, some scenes were fantastic, but often the overall feel of the episode was not good.

But back to the good things: The French Chick is a great addition, I wouldn’t mind her vanishing into the jungle again and occasionally popping up with some new infos or threats for the survivors, like this season. She adds another mysterious layer to the show and the island.

I prefer Shannon over Kate since day one and her scene with Walt was a real tear jerker, I just felt bad for her and Maggie Grace did an amazing job in this scene, she covered so many emotions with her expression. Defence, hurt, raw pain, gratitude and understanding while she opened up to Walt. I think that she can become a real strong female character next season and her revenge against Locke only deepened my affection for her. I adore her determination to get what she wants. She isn’t afraid to use the weapons she has, in the real world it was her looks and on the island she added a gun to the mix.

Kate? I feel indifferently about her, I think she is a good person, who tries to do the right thing and got herself into some big trouble, because of it and I have a suspicion. But till we see what sent her truly on the run, I just lack sometimes understanding for her. At least we now have the back story behind the plane and the Marshall and slowly the puzzle pieces are falling into place.

Sawyer/Jack? Loved that scene, so well acted and I have a theory on how Sawyer lost his shirt again, when he arrived at the beach… *smirks* What really sold this scene for me, was Sawyers understanding and respect of Jacks feelings, while telling it and in doing so get this weight of his shoulders. Plus you could hear, that he had the words all laid out in his head, his little speech was well rehashed and he was just waiting for the right moment... He had a story to share and nothing to gain from it! And I love the dark wit he brings out in Jack, the STD question or the lumberjack crack.

What I also found interesting is that I don’t have the feeling, that Sawyer is jealous of Jacks leader status anymore, he recognizes the responsibility of being in charge and that is nothing he wants. Being a productive member of society, perhaps a goal he can accomplish, but being responsible for life and death? Not so much. Takes the fun out of life. I can see these two becoming friends in the near future, they strangely balance each other out and don’t take shit from each other.
