Hex - Favourite Sky
Video Title: From your favourite sky
Song Title/Artist: From your favourite sky - I Am Kloot
Show: Hex
Summary: This is a chronological look at the complex relationship between Azazeal and Cassie from the pov of Azazeal. Cassie has a destiny to fulfill and for that to happen Azazeal has to "take the stars from her favourite sky". Again and again.
Length/Format: 2.36, (RMVB, DIVX)
Notes: I'm really sorry the file size is so huge the original dvd encoding was pretty poor. To maintain any kind of quality I have had to export slightly higher than I would normally.

Please do not upload to Youtube or MySpace Thanks!

Oooh. Nicely done. I love the ending, with the lights going out, and the image of Azazeal alone in the fog.

I also really like the image of the girls in pentagram on "delicate flower."

Thanks!

Thanks very much. I'm glad you liked the ending. I sometimes struggle with the ending of vids but I think this one is quite strong and ties in with the intro quite well.

I've never seen Hex, and in fact only recently found out about it, but this is still a lovely vid. And I may just have to get copies of the show.

Thanks!
Hex has some great imagery, particularly in the first season but I can't make any claims for it being particularly well written or makng much sense in the second season. It is very much a guilty pleasure.

Well, coincidentally I just found out that the Canadian SF station starts running Hex tomorrow. I'll set my DVR and get ready for the pleasures of the guilty.

It is definitely worth checking out. Like I said before, season 1 is pretty good. Cassie and Thelma's relationship really make the show. The second season does have quite a few faults but it's still enjoyable. Thelma brings me back everytime. :)

Happy watching!

Excellent! This is another show I have sitting on disks and hard drive space, but haven't watched yet. Though this makes me realize, again, that I need to fix that.

It's really lovely--both the images you chose, and everything you did with them. I was emotionally swept up in the story, and I don't know even know most of it yet. :} And the lights going down at the end! One of those gives-me-chills moments. :D

Thanks bunny. :D
I'm glad the narrative came across to someone who hasn't seen the show.

I really wanted to try avisynth with this because the quality of the source was shabby and I've seen the great output you and other folks get using it. Unfortunately it beat me into a bloody pulp. Looking at coding somehow seems to tie into my numbers blindness and I get a total brain freeze.
Anyway I went back to my usual methods and eventually got an end result I could live with.

Many thanks again.

Beautiful vid, Charmax, love the images and the way you told their story, so moving and true. I won’t bore you here with repeating my beta and instead will leave a comprehend comment at your page in a few days. I just wanted you to know that you have my total approval of the final changes from my side, it flows even better than in the draft and I have no idea, how you mastered that, because I thought right there was perfection… *wink*

I stopped watching Hex after Cassie died. Not because I didn't want to see it anymore but just because I kept missing it. I really do love this program. Anyway...This is so beautifully edited, I'm not sure if it's the clarity of your clips or purely how well you edit but there is something about your video's that always leave me with a surreal feeling once I've finished watching them. The flow is like I'm watching a film on the cinema but I know how much work has gone into them because I'm seen the show in the first place. You comment on how you like my photography but I wish I knew how to place things/moments together so well as you. You are an artist. I never get bored of watching your vids. Even from the first you ever made, you still always had something that kept me watching. You are my best friend but if you weren't I would still gush at how wonderful your work is. I really would and always mean it :)

Sassy, you flatterer! lol No really, thank you so much for the compliments it's very nice to hear that my vids new and old have left that kind of impression on you.

As for "hex" maybe you can pick up the show at a later time? It's definitely not the same once Cassie dies but Thelma is still a great character to follow. For me she makes the show worth it.
