I think I just had a vid-gasm. No, seriously. I *love* this.

And if you had no idea what the french say, well, damn girl, you're psychic or something. The french lyrics (I translated them over at Astarte's lj, if you're interested) work perfectly for SPN... It's just amazing.

I *really* love it *plays on loop*

A vid-gasm! Excellent!

It is so good to finally have an accurate translation of the lyrics. I did wonder about asking you for a translation before I started but decided against it because I quite fancied being a bit more free with lyrical interpretation so I just went with the tone and the few words I did recognise.

Well, it *really* works amazingly well, then, especially if you weren't sure at all what was being said.

Bravo! :D

I can't locate my own translation (because I can't remember in which post of Astarte's journal I posted it in), but here's a quick one

C'est le malaise du moment, (it's the uneasiness of the moment)
L'épidémie qui s'étend, (the disease that spreads)
La fête est finie, on descend, (the party's over, we go down)
Les pensées qui glacent la raison. (the thoughts that defy [technically "freeze"] reason.)

Paupières baissées, visages gris, (Eyes [technically "eyelids"] lowered, gray faces)
Surgissent les fantômes de notre lit; (come out the ghosts from our bed)
On ouvre le loquet de la grille (we open the lock to the gate)
Du taudis qu'on appelle maison. (of the dump we call home)

That's kind of...literal, some expressions we use in french don't translate so well in english or just don't have an english equivalent. I also haven't had my coffee yet.
