I’m not a big Katie Holmes fan either, but that wallpaper is simply gorgeous and so unique, I really love how you worked out her ‘shadow’ and even the body contours there and repeated it with different colours. The colours are also stunning, colourful and yet classy, I don’t know how to describe it any other way, I really love the straightforward style and the background here and yes she is pretty too... *tongue in cheek*
The Jessica Alba one has a totally different feel, very romantic and soft coloured, like Trisha I love the way, you arranged the picture and especially the left side and how it blends here into the background. Fantastic work in both of them and your different styles rock so much.
Oh, and one thing about your Layout style? The L Word one rocks too, of course, but the Lost one is for me outstanding, I don’t know, maybe the fandom preference or the photoshot, but I remember my mouth hanging open for a long time, when I first saw it... Not a pretty sight! *wink*

Thanks Astarte. :D As for my differing change of styles I am still not sure if that's a good thing or not... I do it with my vids too. No continuity! I suppose it's keeping everyone guessing. lol

As for the layout - Lost is more your thing than The L Word. They are both similar in terms of the image arrangement so I guess it is the fandom that makes all the difference plus I think the colours are a bit better in the Lost one.

Okay, now onto the manip, Jesus, you’re getting so unbelievable good at this, perfect manipulation and those two pics look HOT together and the way they’re bodies are posed, it’s really hard to tell that this is a manip and I really love the background and the cool blue gives it an amazing touch. Yes, I’m in awe as always...

Maybe, but sometimes I feel like I don't have a distinctive "voice" either in art or in vidding. you know how you can look at some peoples work and without seeing a credit you just know who made it sometimes I wish I had that. On the other hand you are right it does keep things fresh and interesting ( for me if not the viewer) and I do try to learn something new in every wall or vid. The trouble is that I can't always remember what I did when I want to repeat an effect. Like Homer Simpson said "everytime I learn something new it pushes the old stuff out of my brain" lol

I am quite pleased with the manip and since I recently bought the Dark Angel DVDs Jessica Alba has climbed way up my list of Hot Chicks. Thanks again Astarte. ;D

Yeah, I know what you mean about a ‘distinctive voice’, more in photoshop because I really don’t know what I’m going to end up with at the end of each ‘session’. With PS everything is fair game to be tried and I’m not ashamed to post a total bullshit wallpaper, when I don’t get the result I was aiming for, because after all it is just a wall. Vidding is a bit different for me, because I tend to get obsessed more easily and people do tend to point out, that my videos have a certain style with transitions and overlays. But so do yours, there are many things your vids have all in common, high quality, refreshing and witty wicked intelligent lyrical interpretation and more you really vid a song, in the sense that you are inspired by the feel of the audio and your bringing them forward to the front with your visual. Effects, Images and Songs are one unique thing in each and every one of your vids. And I have the same feel with your wallpapers, sure you go wild with styles and see what sticks, but also each and every one has the whole feeling of one piece of art. Everything just comes together right and surprising in the same way and now I must head over to drool some more over Brad, because DAMN! Is it hot or is it just me getting wet and sweaty? *licks lips*

About what you say is my style-Somewhere in amongst all that ridiculous flattery there is a germ of truth. I always try to let the song dictate the style and I always try to choose a song that is not just lyrically appropriate but also sounds right for the character or fandom I am vidding (be it age range, gender or just a sound that suggests a fandom like "Mambo Italiano" nothing lyrical to go on with that but it just sounded like an Alias theme). The PS art just happens. For now anyway..

Out of these 3 I would say the Jennifer/Jessica wall is my fave as well. I paired these off because they are my newest crush. lol Their roles in Alias and Dark Angel are quite similar. They both go on secret missions that involve breaking into places and making dramatic escapes. I just think they would make an interesting pairing. I plan at some point to make a slash vid too. :D
