Video Title: One Way Or Another (REMASTERED)
Song Title/Artist: One Way Or Another - Blondie
Show: Veronica Mars
Summary:
This is an episodic video to the episode 'Clash of the tritons'. 'One Way or Another' the song by Blondie is lip synched with Veronica's karaoke version.
Length/Format: 3.25, (WMV, Xvid)
Notes:
I am still on my remastering spree, wheee! (As well as working on my sweet charity vid of course) The main difference between this and the old version is DVD source. Yay. I've also put in a couple of extra clips, chopped the rhythm up a little more, refined the titles and added a touch more external motion. Shiny.

Episodic videos can be quite tricky to edit because clip choice is quite limited and there aren't the sweeping camera shots or epic panoramic views of a movie. So, with what was available to me I think it works. I am happy anyway. :)

Please do not upload to Youtube or MySpace Thanks!

Feedback is great.

I watched VM intermittently, and this was an episode that I haven't seen, so I hummed and hahhed for a while, but then felt really guilty because you are always such a dear when it comes to feedbacking my vids, and some shallow tech-oriented feedback really is better than no feedback at all. So.

This is such a fun vid! The lip synching was done extremely well, and I'm super impressed by your clip choices, especially given the limited nature of an episodic.

Goodness, VM camerawork really moves, doesn't it? Even though I've seen a lot of VM vids, that fact never really struck me until I saw this. I loved the way you employed all those smooth, quick swoops and push/pulls, and the way you added some external stuff in a way that looks natural to the source.

1:16 - love the lyric match to "I'll get ya, I'll get ya", and then I loved how the light flashed on the beat at 1:21.

I got so caught up in the second half that I totally forgot to view it with my vidder glasses, which I think says a lot about the naturalness and flow of the editing. The quick intercutting toward the ending really worked for me as well.

Excellent vid! I'm sorry for not having more to say regarding context and whatnot. How about remastering another one in a fandom I know next time, eh? ;)

You know me I'll take whatever feedback I can get techy or otherwise.

I'm glad it was fun to watch even if you aren't a fan of the show. It really is just meant to be a bit of fun showing a non-angsty side of the show which really is a lot more fun than most vids would have you believe.
