Notes:
This is part 2 of the ongoing vid/let challenge with astartexx (part 1 was "Protege Moi".) Astarte gave me the song but didn't specify any show or character, Niki/Jessica just spoke to me. The major problem was how to get across the concept of Crazy Brain Twin. The video feels disjointed very much like the two characters. As the video was set as a challenge it gave me the opportunity to experiment a lot more with effects and come out of my comfort zone a bit. Some of these are more subtle and some are in your face. For those who haven't seen the show Jessica's the psycho with the tattoo but honestly that won't help much because even when she's not on screen she's still sort of there. It's probably the one time where pov confusion is actually intentional. lol

Wow. Sounds like you really sweated! It totally paid off, though; your vid is so damned *slick*. I need to study it and figure out what I could do better, because really, my splitscreens always had a faintly cheesy Video Toaster whiff about them to me. Yours definitely do not.

lol I've never heard that "cheesy Video Toaster" expression before. Thanks to wikipedia I see what it is now. I think your split-screens worked fine. I think vidders always view their own stuff with a harsher eye than a viewer would (I know I do).

And yeah, many vidders are harsher on themselves than viewers would be. Normally I don't have that problem, actually, but this time I didn't really wind up with what I wanted. ::shrug:: It happens.

Wikipedia is a great source for everything, it's surprising what you can learn just from browsing round. :D

It's a shame you're not so happy with your vid, personally I think it's excellent and to me what you have done fits very neatly with the style of the show and the music. I like it very much!

Anyway, thanks again for your comments on "The Wreckoning" to say it rocks makes me very happy.
