Stage6 streaming
Oct. 2nd, 2007 10:01 amI have added a few of my vids to stage6 which is a HQ streaming service. Unfortunately, Imeem's quality, both for viewing vids and it's service generally, is not as great as it was. I will be sticking with Imeem until I am booted but this is to give an alternative for some vids. So far, there are about half a dozen of us vidders up there. Anyone joining me?

Date: 2007-10-02 03:34 pm (UTC)Each day something new pops up at imeem (stats reporting, spam comments etc etc) that's making me think it won't be long before I stop using the site.
It was bad enough when the vids disappeared and the quality
plummetted (sp?)fell but everything seems to be moving in a direction I don't like.no subject

Date: 2007-10-03 08:21 am (UTC)I saw that they were offering Dr Divx software so once I'm back from my convention this weekend I think I will give it a go. I've seen AutoGK spoken of alot. Is it an all round converter, encoder etc? I'm looking for something that will also crop my clips to stop squishy aspect ratios when I mix the seasons, WinAvi doesn't quite get it right.

I can't really suggest a tool that will automatically correct the aspect ratios, unfortunately.
Have a great weekend!

Date: 2007-10-03 10:25 am (UTC)The aspect ratio thing is a real pain in Movie Maker.
